Whether you are seeking help for grieving and loss or family issues we can help. Our purpose is for you to understand the source of your issues, to learn coping skills that help you heal, and identify negative patterns of thinking and behavior that have negatively impacted you. Family Interaction Therapy (F.I.T.) is a hybrid of PCIT, Family Therapy and Supervised Visitation. There are no one way mirrors and ear pieces. Instead we involve the family with games, food preparation, art and almost any other interactive activity the family would like during the session. The therapist is not there to merely document the interactions or speak into a parents ear piece. The therapist is there to make on the spot suggestions or corrections in which both the parent(s) hear as well as the child (ren). This allows the entire unit to understand the dynamics of change and process how they feel or what they think about the changes being implemented.
Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
CVCCA understands the importance of healthy parent/child relationships. With this in mind, CVCCA has developed a setting dedicated to helping parents learn essential skills which support healthy responses in raising children. Please click on the link below to learn more about this valuable program!
